What Did He Say? (Part 1)

I have read Mr. Trump’s full words on 1/6, and without question we all will be hearing selected clipped Democrat phrases of what he said toward the end of his speech. However, what did he say before he supposedly “incited” the crowd? What did he say in reference to fraud in various statewide elections? I have not read any of the following in my local “newspaper.”

The following is from a piece by Marvin L. Covalt, Lt Gen US Army, ret:

( it will be split into two separate sections, because of its length.)

The president said to several thousand supporters at the rally: “In every single swing state, local officials, state officials, almost all Democrats, made illegal and unconstitutional changes to election procedures without the mandated approvals by the state legislatures, that these changes paved the way for fraud on a scale never seen before.”

PENNSYLVANIA: President Trump went on to point out the following….

  • Over 8,000 ballots were cast by people whose names and dates of birth match individuals who died in 2020 prior to the election.
  • Over 14,000 ballots were cast by out-of-state voters.
  • More than 10,000 votes were counted, even though they were received after Election Day.
  • 25,000 ballots were requested by nursing home residents, all in a single giant batch, indicating an enormous illegal ballot-harvesting operation.
  • The day before the election, the State of Pennsylvania reported the number of absentee ballots that had been sent out. Yet this number was suddenly and drastically increased by 400,000 people.

WISCONSIN: President Trump said……

  • Over 170,000 absentee votes were counted in Wisconsin without a valid absentee ballot application.
  • In Madison, 17,000 votes were deposited in so-called human drop boxes in complete defiance of cease-and-desist letters from the state legislature. They came in duffle bags.
  • According to eyewitness testimony, postal service workers in Wisconsin were also instructed to illegally backdate approximately 100,000 ballots.
  • The margin of difference in Biden’s win in Wisconsin was less than 20,000 votes.

MICHIGAN: President Trump pointed out….

  • In Wayne County (Detroit), 174,000 ballots were counted without being tied to an actual registered voter.
  • Also, in Wayne County, poll watches observed canvassers re-scanning batches of ballots multiple times.
  • In Detroit, turnout was 139 percent of registered voters.
  • Four witnesses testified, under penalty of perjury, that after officials in Detroit announced the last votes had been counted, tens of thousands of additional ballots arrived without required envelopes. Every single one was for a Democrat.
  • At 6:31am, after voting had ended, Michigan suddenly reported 147,000 votes. An astounding 94 percent went to Joe Biden.

Hmmm!

Part 2 tomorrow.

Election Influences: Subtle, Criminal, and Beyond

Now three months after the election it seems to me that there were at least four different manipulations, seemingly occurring independently of each other, that combined to steal the victory from Trump.

Some of these were subtle. Some not so subtle. Some merely disingenuous. Some outright criminal.

First:

Subtly, starting well before Election Day the Main Stream Media was using its full force to almost constantly berate President Trump. Granted Mr. Trump was at times an easy target because of his obstreperous and boisterous personality, but his coverage both on TV news and in the Mainstream print was overwhelmingly negative coverage. Note that this is opposed to fawning coverage being given to the milquetoast that now sits in the Oval Office. (“Hand in your questions ahead of time so that they can be screened” . . . OMG!) To my way of thinking even Fox News subtly caved; so much so that I no longer watch the Fox News channel. The recent taking of Lou Dobbs off the air (Fox Business) only goes to prove their leftward slide. In general this MSM influence was certainly subtle, probably purposely so, but not criminal.

Second:

The influence of Big Tech, including Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Amazon, etc. who exerted major influence before and after the election. Starting with the censoring of the New York Post (NYP) in October when the NYP published its blockbuster stories on Biden family corruption . . . not subtle.

In January, the censorship and eventual banning from the Web of President Trump by every major Silicon Valley tech company . . . also not subtle. And finally, most recently, the coordinated takedown of the upstart social media site Parler . . . again, not subtle.

Taken together this Big Tech influence was far from subtle, and possibly criminal.

Third:

The brazen and often very open cheating that occurred all the way down to the precinct level with double and triple counting of some votes, as well as the locking out of Republican observers during the middle of the night when the Biden surge appeared. Also apparently there were a massive number of ballots trucked in from who knows where as well as duffel bags of Biden votes brought in the trunks of cars . . . again from who knows where. Illegals voting. Underage people voting. Dead people voting. Felons voting. Out of state residents voting. Etc Some subtle, some not so subtle, but all criminal.

Fourth:

The recently accumulated data put together by Mike Lindell of My Pillow fame that convincingly documents election interference that goes beyond criminal. Here I am speaking of hacking and cyber crime. carried out by cyber criminals on computers from outside the US – predominately from China. Subtle, and more than just criminal. These manipulations were the equivalent of “cyber warfare.” I watched Lindell’s two hour long video that in my view substantiated cyber interference in vote counting and the vote tabulations in multiple states. (FYI: This video is long, but . . . Wow!)

I can pretty much guarantee that you will not read about his report in the print “newspapers,” and you will not hear about it on visual MSM like national news or Big Tech, venues, like Facebook or YouTube, etc.

The Little Guy

As years go by but probably not too far down the road it will become increasingly obvious that multiple major mistakes were made in the handling of this coronavirus outbreak. Many months ago I said that I disagreed with how President Trump handled the virus, and of course my  anti-Trump readers jumped all over that. At that time perhaps I should have been more specific as I thought that he put too much credence in what the esteemed Dr. Fauci was saying and did not pay enough attention to the little guy. By this I mean that there was not enough of a balance between the medical aspects of the virus infection and the economic catastrophe that could (and did) result because of the multiple things that have occurred because of the “flattening of the curve” mentality of those “who know best.”

Certainly it is always easy to look through a retrospectoscope, but shouldn’t some of these economic consequences have been predictable? Not to belabor the point but the soaring unemployment was predictable, as were the myriad of predicable consequences for these millions of people being out of work. These were not unforeseen consequences, but predictable consequences, which have had the most dramatic effects on the little guy. By the little guy here I am referring to the working poor and the others who were trying their best but still barely getting by before everything was shut down.

Think about it various aspects for a second.
School closures . . . without question have effected the little guy the most. (Internet access, ability to send kids to private schools, parents who could not work from home, etc, etc all hit  the little guy the hardest.) The shutting down of small businesses certainly wreaked havoc on the finances of the owners, but just as much on their employees, who for the most part are little guys. However, perhaps the most consequential and far reaching effects on the little guy over the long term involves those who could not pay their rent.

The following is from an article in the LA Times:

Renters across the nation are dipping into 401(k)s, taking on higher-interest debt, and scrambling for risky, essential-worker jobs to pay the rent. Research from Moody’s Analytics and the Urban Institute estimates 9.4 million U.S. renter households owed an average of $5,586 in back rent, utilities and related late fees as of January, for a total burden of $52.6 billion.

“[Bad] debt affects your credit score, and credit scores affect everything in your life,” said Yuval Yossefy, a manager at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, a nonprofit law firm.

“A family that makes less than $30,000 a year, they are going to be on the verge of homelessness for the next 10 to 15 years because of this huge debt,” said Ana Grande, associate executive director of the nonprofit Bresee Foundation in Los Angeles, which provides assistance to low-income families.

Making matters worse: Studies show those with debt are least likely to afford it — even if they regain their old incomes. Compared with all L.A. County renters, households that earned less than $25,000 in 2019 were more than twice as likely as all renters to not pay their rent during the pandemic, according to a joint USC-UCLA survey. Households that earned between $25,000 and $50,000 were the second most common group to report not paying.

For emphasis here we are talking again about the little guy – the working  guy making less than $50,000 per year, the working poor little guy.

At this point unfortunately the harm that has been down is a fait accompli (done and irreversible), however the virus is not finished. Most likely with these new variants, an inevitable post Super Bowl surge, or a post Valentine’s Day surge, cases will again spike upwards.

Hopefully, those “who know best” will have learned something over the past year. If not, perhaps every little guy can imitate  Howard Beale from the 1976 movie, Network, and shout, “I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore.”

A translation for “those who know best:”

This means open all schools and businesses completely – Now . . . and keep them open.

Shakespeare Lives

Now, lest anyone get the wrong notion, I am far from a Shakespeare aficionado. Despite having the volume on my hearing aids turned up, I usually get about fifty percent of what is being said on the Shakespeare stage. Oh I hear it, but I often do not understand it. This is different from listening to the British shows on PBS, like Doc Martin, where often I just can’t actually make out the words in their bastardized form of “English.”

With this upcoming “Impeachment Trial,” I think that I now understand more of “Billy the Shake’s” phrases.

Hoist with his own petard” is a phrase from a speech in William Shakespeare’s play Hamlet that has become proverbial. The phrase’s meaning is literally that a bomb-maker is blown up (“hoist” off the ground) by his own bomb (a “petard” is a small explosive device), and indicates an ironic reversal, or poetic justice.

I predict that we will see the Dems and the RINOs hoisted with their own petard, as the Trump team is able to clearly bring out into the open the various and multiple fraudulent things that occurred during the election. Hopefully the RINOs will be hoisted the highest. (“Romney, Murkowski, and Cheney can you hear me way up there?”)

“All that glitters is not gold” (The Merchant of Venice) is a saying embodying an absolute truth stating not everything that looks precious or true turns out to be so. As the truth about what actually happened in the election in some states comes out, the Biden victory will look like pyrite rather than gold.

“Hell is empty and all the devils are here.” (The Tempest)

To me this one is self-explanatory! Look at the White House and the Congress.

“The lady doth protest too much, methinks.” (Hamlet)

This can only be Shakespeare’s prescient referral to Nancy Pelosi.

“These violent delights have violent ends…” (Romeo and Juliet)

Such language! Perhaps, “The Shake-man” should be the one being impeached as he is not in office either.

Hopefully down the road the vicious and vengeful Dems and RINOs will get what they deserve.

“Good night, good night! parting is such sweet sorrow, That I shall say good night till it be morrow.” (Romeo and Juliet)

Hopefully this will be the theme as Republicans retake The House in 2022.

“Fair is foul, and foul is fair: Hover through the fog and filthy air.” (Macbeth)

A lot of things now being pushed by the Dems seem backward as illegals are getting the good stuff, while the middle class is getting screwed.

Hopefully the Joe Biden’s of the world will get their just desserts.

To close, Republicans remember:

“Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall.” (Measure for Measure)

and

“This above all: to thine ownself be true. And it must follow, as the night the day.” (Hamlet)

“Go,fight, win!” (not from Shakespeare but from the Contrarian)

Covid Update

There are a few interesting new Covid updates.

First of all the British variant has been detected in Southern California. In fact more so in SoCal than in other parts of the state, perhaps because of more testing for the variant in SoCal. You actually have to look for variants by doing gene sequencing, if you hope to find them.

In Britain this variant was first discovered in the southern part of Britain, and then spread throughout Britain with a lag time of just under four months until it is now wreaking havoc in Great Britain. This variant spreads about 50% faster and has an overall mortality of about 30% higher. In the U.S gene sequencing is happening only in < 1% of the tests . . . as compared to 100% genetic sequencing in Denmark. This variant could possibly portend a rise in both case numbers and mortality in the US in the near future.

Also in England a company has been doing randomized Covid testing since May. In mid-January of this year, the prevalence of infection was 1.57% which is not a decreasing prevalence since the latest lockdown in England. Again this is probably due to these new variants.

There are some interesting stats with this most recent randomized English data:

In London, 2.83% prevalence of Covid.

18-24 year olds, 2.44% prevalence.

Households with >6 people, 3.05% prevalence.

Blacks/Asians, 3.07% (? if related to lower Vit D levels?)

Whites, 1.14%.

Also a new interesting development from Brazil where a preliminary in vivo prospective study has demonstrated the beneficial effect of a mouthwash containing fatalocyanide blue. (no, I do not know what this is.)The mouthwash is both rinsed and gargled before being spit out, but this mouthwash is not available here. Could this beneficial Covid effect be carried over to other mouthwashes? The interesting thing about this is that in both Japan and Vietnam, gargling is apparently a part of their culture and both have had less mortality from Covid. In Vietnam using mouthwash has been suggested from the beginning and Vietnam has an impressively low mortality from Covid.

BTW: Scope is made by Procter & Gamble , and Listerine by Pfizer.

I find this of interest because one of retired Supreme Justice Anthony Keneally’s sons in “The Keneally Chronicles” used a special alcohol based mouthwash to avoid getting Covid during the street riots in LA ( see top of page 98 and bottom of page 102). Keep in mind that this book was written back in the Spring of 2020.

Yes, this book is still available on Amazon. (It hasn’t been taken down yet.)

Also there is now some new data out of Canada that one’s Vitamin D level correlates with one’s immune response to the Covid vaccine. . . a higher Vitamin D level correlating with a better immune response which is what we want. (FYI: Some of us are taking 4000 IU of Vitamin D daily.)

A Preview

Today I am going to provide you with a preview of a coming headline. When will this headline appear? I don’t know for sure, but my guess is within the next few months.

The headline will read, “Covid Cases Increasing Because of Poor Compliance With Double Masking.”

For months now all that we have heard is that Covid cases are increasing because we, the general populace, are not mask-wearing like we are suppose to. In other words, we, the general populace are “bad boys/girls,” and if we, the general populace, would only do as we are told, all would be right. As best I can recall I have not read anything in my local “newspaper” that ever hinted that perhaps mask wearing just wasn’t very good at stopping the spread of the virus. Could it be that masks even when worn correctly were just not very effective at controlling viral spread. Hmmm.

At this point a rational person will  ask, “Why are ‘those who know best’ now apparently advocating wearing double masks?” At some point will triple-masking be the new recommendation when double masking is apparently not stopping the viral spread. I do not think that the general populace of sheep will ever kowtow to quintuple or quadruple masking, but the odds that obsequious Californians will be adding increasing layers of masks above three is now at even money in Vegas.

But, it’s going to get worse, as pretty soon the mask police will be out in full force. It won’t matter if you’ve had the vaccine, you will still have to wear a mask, if you are going anywhere outside of your home. Even if you have had a documented past Covid infection, it will also not matter . . . “triple mask, or else!” (This despite the fact that repeat Covid infections are extremely, extremely rare throughout the world.)

In another interesting development, apparently the CDC can now make laws! I had thought that it was the function of the legislative branch of government to make laws. Tsk, tsk, silly boy! On late Friday, 1/29/21, the CDC did its version of the Friday evening dump when it issued a diktat  that masks must be worn just about everywhere for domestic travelers, including planes, trains, and automobiles (ride sharing). I have not yet heard whether “soccer-moms” will now be cited if all of the kiddos in their carpools are not wearing approved face masks. Hmmm!

At some point will the general populace decide that enough is enough, and follow the advise of Sen.Ron Paul?  He recently said, that those who have immunity should “throw your mask away and tell these so-called experts to take a flying leap.”

While that advice might sell in Kentucky and other red states, the Karens in California will likely respond, “Mmm, slush paw quidditch,” which I think means “no way!” . . . keeping in mind that it is very difficult to understand what they are saying through their layered six face masks!

Root Him On

I just read something by Wayne Allen Root, who is a big Trump guy. This essay is titled: “The Trump Comeback Begins: . . . “

An hour or so before I had read something from the NYT, which never misses an opportunity to belittle Mr. Trump. The NYT strongly implied that the Republicans would be okay . . . if they could only figure out a way to get rid of Trump. Boring! The NYT and the Democrats will quickly learn that this second impeachment fiasco will only fire up a lot of those 74 million who voted for him in November, 2020.

Contrary to the NYT, Mr. Root basically says, “NBAT” . . . “Never Bet Against Trump.”

He further states, “Trump must become the kingmaker of the GOP. The Trump Army is 74 million strong. The Republican Party belongs to Trump. He should remake the party in his image.”

Here he is talking about a concerted effort to get rid of the RINOs, but Mr. Root has another far out idea that could cause the Dems to jump off the balcony and cause Nancy Pelosi to go bonkers.

Ready?

Have Mr. Trump run for the House in 2022. He could basically choose a Florida district that now has a RINO rep., win the primary, and easily defeat the Dem opposition in Nov. 2022.

But it gets better.

If the House could be flipped in 2022, then Mr. Trump could feasibly be elected Speaker of the House, and torment Nancy Pelosi daily. In addition, in this position, he would be the second in line if something were to happen to both Biden and V.P. Harris.

Now granted all of this is unlikely to happen, but imagine the look on both Pelosi’s and Biden’s face. Priceless!

Plus in addition, as a member of Congress, he would have a lot of  influence in trying to insure that fraud would not be an intrinsic part of the Democrat playbook again in the 2024 Presidential election.

As Julie Andrew’s sang in My Fair Lady, “Wouldn’t it be loverly?”

I’d love it.

Perhaps we should all “root him on !”

What’s Above Their Shoulders ?

I suppose I could have answered the question posed in the title by merely saying, “Not much!” If I did that this would have been a very short blog. In my writing classes I have always been told to cut out the unnecessary words and the run-on sentences. “Get to the point. Do not string the reader along unnecessarily. Etc.”

However, what fun is that?

Here I am talking about liberals and their thought (or perhaps I should say, “non-thought”) processes. As I have emphasized frequently in the past, I feel that the brains of liberals are controlled by the midbrain (emotion) as opposed to the frontal lobe (logical thought processes).

Take for example something that just happened in L.A. where the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) announced new COVID-19 restrictions on restaurants now that the outdoor dining ban has been lifted. The Public Health Department is banning restaurants from having TVs on for their customers to watch programming while they are eating.

“Televisions or any other screens that are used to broadcast programming must be removed from the area or turned off. This provision is effective until further notice,” the order states.

Why make such an order, one might ask?

Think about it for a second … it’s all about the Super Bowl which is scheduled for Sunday, February 7.

From Townhall:

“As Fox 11 reporter Bill Melugin notes, the order will backfire as it will only increase indoor private gatherings who want to watch the big game.”

And here is where that thing that sits above the shoulders is not being used by LACDPH. To me it appears obvious that those who made this decision are either not football fans or do not make logical decisions very often … very possibly both.

If I want to have a few brewskis while watching the Super Bowl with friends, for sure I am going to do just that. If perchance it is raining, I may not go to that outdoor brewery, but I am still going to have a few beers and watch the game with friends . . . somewhere inside. The same logical conclusion can be arrived at if my local brewery is not allowed to show the Super Bowl live, because some liberal ding-a-lings at LACDPH say “no outdoor televisions in bars or restaurants.”

Now days just about everyone knows that indoor groups are much more likely to transmit the virus compared to the same groups gathered outdoors … apparently everyone except LACDPH.

One wonders if the  LACDPH ever uses that thing that sits above their shoulders?

Increase … Decrease … 1987

Does an increase in the minimum wage lead to a decrease in the number of jobs? (Is the Pope a Catholic?) Apparently our new President didn’t read the following from a NYT article back in 1987. Increasing the minimum wage is on his liberal agenda.

The following is from the New York Times in 1987. (The underlining for emphasis is mine):

“No wonder, but still a mistake. Anyone working in America surely deserves a better living standard than can be managed on $3.35 an hour. But there’s a virtual consensus among economists that the minimum wage is an idea whose time has passed. Raising the minimum wage by a substantial amount would price working poor people out of the job market. A far better way to help them would be to subsidize their wages or – better yet – help them acquire the skills needed to earn more on their own.

An increase in the minimum wage to, say, $4.35 would restore the purchasing power of bottom-tier wages. It would also permit a minimum-wage breadwinner to earn almost enough to keep a family of three above the official poverty line. There are catches, however. It would increase employers’ incentives to evade the law, expanding the underground economy. More important, it would increase unemployment: Raise the legal minimum price of labor above the productivity of the least skilled workers and fewer will be hired.

If a higher minimum means fewer jobs, why does it remain on the agenda of some liberals?”

Again this was from 1987.

From Townhall:

“Flashforward to 2021 and we know which side has won and what it has done for these workers. It’s screwed them—royally. They tried this in Seattle, and it’s ruined the restaurant business. Even USA Today was saying let’s pump the brakes on these minimum wage increases to $15/hour because studies and its application show that it hurts workers, cuts their hours, and kills their employment. It injects steroids into the automation timelines which eliminates a host of these minimum wage jobs as well.”

To add emphasis to this automation point, now Walmart is enlisting the help of robots to keep up with the surge of online orders. On 1/27/21 Walmart said that it will build warehouses adjacent to, or within selected stores where self-driving robots with fetch groceries and have them ready for customer pickup within an hour or less. How many of these robot run warehouses will be built? Walmart is mum on that at present. How many human jobs will be replaced with robots. Biden and his lib advisers are mum on that at present.

I thought that the recent surge of online shopping would naturally lead to more jobs. It will lead to more jobs . . . more robot jobs, as these robots will not have to be paid an increasing minimum wage, and as best I can tell robots do not require benefits – just a little oil now and then.

Note: Rival Amazon already uses robot technology in its warehouses.

Oops!

BTW: The non partisan congressional budget office says raising minimum wage to $15 will kill over 4 million jobs.

Oops!

How Many More ?

Even though our lockdowns in California have recently been alleviated some, is it only a matter of time before they are put back in place? This was initially written last week, but there were so many good points that I decided to publish it today.
In California, many ordinary people are sick and tired of the lockdowns, and just how many more are falling off the lockdown wagon every day as it continues?

Elon Musk of Tesla has had enough and is moving to Texas. But what about the ordinary folk, most of whom cannot just up and move to Texas.

Those who own businesses are literally dying, and the carnage is not coming to an end. Just in the last few weeks I have heard of a few “rebels” who because they are resisting being buried alive, are beginning to do something . . . something stealthy, something undercover . . . something smart.

Up near the coast there are at least two restaurants that are using a kind of self defense. They are fighting for their livelihood, and are resisting in  the only way they how. They are staying open. One is a breakfast place and the other is an Italian place. How many of their customers are paying their bills in cash?

Hairdressers and barbers are also on death row with no end in site. There is a beauty parlor in my neighborhood that now has blackened windows. I know for a fact that the windows were not recently darkened to keep out the sun. Surely there must be some customers going into that salon (“only those that I can actually trust,” which probably excludes obvious Karens.) The last customer in that beauty salon paid cash. How many others are paying cash?

A friend of mine recently called his barber who agreed to come to his backyard to cut his hair. My friend then invited an additional four friends, all of whom needed a haircut. The payments for the five haircuts were all made in cash.

Today, a guy that I know very very well needed a haircut very very badly. He went by his barber shop and the windows and the front door were darkened. He looked in, but the inside of the barbershop looked empty. However as he was opening his car door, the door to the barber shop opened, and he was waved in, because the barber said, “I recognized you.” This haircut + tip was a cash transaction.

Another friend of mine goes a gym in his neighborhood . . . but only through the back door. Although he hasn’t denied it, I am pretty sure that he also pays cash.

Now granted, when Elon Musk leaves everyone, including millionaire local politician Lorena Gonzalez of “F**k Elon Musk” fame, can find out how enormous the lost tax revenue to California will be after Musk leaves, but what about the lost tax revenue from the underground economy? If I know of at least a few businesses that are operating on a mainly cash only basis, how many more are doing the same thing and how much more tax revenue is California losing every day?

In a similar note are there underground gatherings here in California that are substituting for bars and restaurants for some ? Apparently there are in Chicago. From CBS Chicago:

“Mayor Lori Lightfoot on 1/14/21 said Chicago restaurants and bars need to be allowed to reopen “as quickly as possible” not just to help those businesses survive, but also to cut down on instances of private parties where people don’t take proper precautions against COVID-19.”

Hmmm . . . sounds like the mayor is trying to come up with a novel way to weasel out of a prior bad decision (closing all restaurants to indoor dining in frigid Chicago) by blaming those rebels having private parties.

Be that as it may, if these underground gatherings are occurring in Chicago, is it not reasonable to assume that similar private parties are occurring here ? If so, would there not be a consequent loss of tax revenue, similar to the underground barber shops and hair salons?

How many more underground activities are there?
