“Garbage!”

President Biden just called all Trump supporters, “garbage.” (Actually, even though the media is trying to deny his comment, I saw the tape … he said it!) Could this be similar to Hillary’s “deplorables” comment prior to Trump’s victory in 2016?

Speaking of garbage, how could three Supreme Court Justices vote that it is okay for illegals to vote in the November election?!
In case you haven’t heard …. The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 against Biden Department of Justice efforts Wednesday to keep thousands of non-citizens on Virginia’s voter rolls ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Justices Sonja Sotomayor, Elana Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson agreed either the DOJ’s attempt to keep illegals on the voting roles!
Now to be perfectly clear, I am not calling these three liberal Justices, “garbage,” but rather I am calling their decision in this case, “garbage.”
Note to those on the left who ever refer to the other six Justices as prejudiced, this unbelievable decision by these three liberal Justices has to be the most prejudicial non-rational decision ever! And I stand by my statement that their decision in this case was “garbage!” The decision should have been an easy 9-0!

Evil !

Let me be clear from the start that I do not think that anyone should take advice from Pope Frances on who to vote for in the upcoming U.S. presidential election … not Catholics, not Protestants, not atheists, not Buddhists, not Moslems, not anybody! However, recently Pope Frances did say something that is worth noting on this subject when he commented that Catholic Americans should choose between the “lesser of two evils.”
I was reminded of what Pope Frances had to say about this issue when I read an article on Townhall by Mark Lewis entitled “Vote America.”
He begins, “I have been reading that there is a fear, among Republicans and conservatives, that a lot of religious/Christian people are going to sit out this election simply because they cannot abide Donald Trump’s morals. They certainly won’t support Democrats, but they can’t vote for Trump. As a Christian, I can understand it, but I also have some problems with it.
“My first major concern is…good grief, people, look at the alternative. Granted that Mr. Trump is not the reincarnation of Jesus, but the Democrats—all of them, not just Harris and Walz—are just pure evil.
“Nobody who claims to be a Christian and who truly understands the Left and the Democratic Party today could ever vote for a Democrat.  It would be the height of hypocrisy.  To claim that “Jesus is my Lord” (which a true Christian must), and then vote for a party that believes in murdering babies, transgenderism, same-sex marriage, and other homosexual perversions, the mutilation of children, the theft and destruction of honest people’s property—no Christian could vote for anybody who propagates those anti-Christian, godless positions.”
At this point you may feel that this is a bit over the top, however, the author, Mark Lewis, continues:
“I do personally believe that Mr. Trump, for all his faults—and we all have them, including every faithful Christian—is a far, far better person than Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.  I don’t think Trump is “evil”; he may have some wicked bones in his body, but “evil”?  No, I don’t see that.  But I do consider Harris and Walz, and every Democratic politician, evil people. Indeed, it’s a matter of degree; in one sense, morally, every election is a selection among the ‘lesser of evils.’ But, if we honor that rule this time, Trump is far superior to Harris and Walz.”

For those who disagree with Mark Lewis’s, and in fact, my assessment of the Democratic Party, remember that the present Democrat politicians today are not of the same genre as JFK was.
To avoid being misunderstood, let me be clear … I do not think that every individual who identifies as a Democrat is an evil person, but rather it is the Democratic Party that is evil.

Mail-in Ballots

After the way the 2000 election was stolen by villainous means, I am hoping that the Republicans will be ready for the inevitable skullduggery that is certain to come, most likely in the form of mail-in ballots. It has already started! Unbelievably
on 20/28 there was a ruling from the Nevada Supreme Court on accepting mail-in ballots without a postmark and after the election. I had always thought that those on the various State Supreme Courts would be the cream of the crop in the legal community, but apparently not so in Nevada!
Mail-in ballots are not only open to every type of nefarious action, but they have become the preferred method for NGOs, religious and secular, to use to undermine fair elections.

From Rips Newsletter:
Republicans Need To Prepare Plan B
Win or lose, Trump’s likely to be in court
about BS ballots from ineligible addresses

The address is king in the land of the mail-in ballot. The person doesn’t matter much because anyone can make up a name. Addresses are a bit stickier. An address is permanent – or close to it. Addresses live in thousands of commercial and government databases – each adding context to a street number.
409 Clifford Street is just an address on a voter roll. It could be a home, a bank, an insurance company, or an empty lot. For years, nobody cross-checked voter rolls with property tax rolls because nobody thought of it, and if they did, the technology to do it was prohibitively expensive. When the StopBogusBallots.com team, using quantum-speed Fractal technology, started comparing voter rolls with property rolls in 2021, the number of anomalous addresses from which a mail-in ballot could originate exploded.

Our StopBogusBallots.com team is collecting these cast ballot identities, comparing them with official government databases, and where they originate from an ineligible address, we flag them. Where possible, we are legally challenging them. The StopBogusBallots.com site has lots of lawsuits posted if you like to read that sort of thing.
A mail-in ballot has highly deterministic characteristics – like predicting for whom the ballot is cast. Mail-in ballots from ineligible addresses are 97% for Leftist candidates.

So now I get it! The Dems are all-in for mail-in ballots because mail-in ballots are easily falsified.
StopBogusBallots.com is preparing to challenge those ballots that are unlawful ballots. I have contributed to this site, and am encouraging others to do so.

You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet!

Many years ago, especially in blue states there was a rash of COVID vaccine mandates by different companies. To their employees they basically said, “Get the vaccine, or else!” At that point many employees said ‘no,’ based on religious reasons. A lot of these individuals kowtowed to their employer and begrudgingly got the vaccine, while others held fast to their religious beliefs, and many were fired for disobeying the vaccine mandate. Some of those that were forcibly fired subsequently sued their employers because their religious beliefs were disregarded.
And now years later groups of these employees who sued are receiving justification.
From Epoch Health:
A group of health care workers who sued their hospital over a COVID-19 vaccine mandate are slated to receive $10 million, according to a settlement agreement filed on July 29.
About a dozen workers at the NorthShore University HealthSystem in Illinois lodged the suit in October 2021, arguing that the facility was illegally not granting religious exemptions to the mandate.
After eight months of negotiations, the workers and NorthShore “have agreed to settle this case,” according to a memorandum filed in federal court.
Under the settlement’s terms, NorthShore will pay $10,337,500 into a settlement fund for workers affected by its mandate—specifically, workers who, between July 1, 2021, and Jan. 1, 2022, asked for a religious accommodation and were denied, and either received a vaccine to avoid termination, or were fired or resigned from their employment. About 473 workers fit under that category.
Each worker who eventually got a vaccine despite raising religious objections would be eligible for about $3,000, while those who were fired or resigned from their position could receive about $25,000, according to estimates.”

Well I guess that showed those stubborn employers … over $10 million!
But reminiscent of a 1974 song by BTO (Bachman–Turner Overdrive), “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet!”
From the Epoch Times:
“Rail transit officials in California’s Bay Area have been ordered to pay more than $7 million to transit workers who were fired because they refused to get a COVID-19 vaccine years ago. On Oct. 23, a federal jury in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California sided with six former San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) workers who had refused to get the vaccine for religious purposes.
BART was ordered to pay the group more than $7.8 million, with each individual receiving between $1.2 million and $1.5 million, the Pacific Justice Institute, which represented the transit workers in the trial, said in a statement on Oct. 24.”

Although I really do not know for sure, I suspect that there are more similar COVID vaccine mandates vs. denied religious exemptions cases in the legal pipeline, and if there are not at this time, there will be many more.
The October awards in California have set the bar quite high – much higher than the July bar set in Illinois, and I predict …
You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet!

Troy May

For those of you who do not know Sunday is the day I write about someone who deserves our praise and/or respect. Today’s hero is U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Troy May.
On the morning of Aug. 28, Ursula Bannister, 79, chose to make her yearly pilgrimage to High Rock Lookout near Ashford, Washington, where her mother’s ashes were laid.
“I know the trail very well, and there are always many people there,” Bannister said.” When I couldn’t find anyone to accompany me on this outing, I just went by myself.”
As she descended the trail after having lunch, Bannister accidentally stepped into a hole. Feeling pain as her leg gave out, she cried for help. She knew something had gone terribly wrong with her ankle, and that she wouldn’t be able to make it down the mountain. Her only hope was that someone would hear her pleas for help.
Fortuitously, Troy May and his friend happened by.
“My first thought was if I could carry her down, I should carry her down and get her there as quickly as I can,” said May.
Acting on that thought, May lifted Bannister onto his back and began carrying her down the 1.6 miles of steep trail. It wasn’t easy. May was wearing cowboy boots that were not intended for such an intense job, and he had to continually pause on the way down to ensure that Bannister would not have too turbulent a descent. And the force of gravity made it hard for May to keep the injured woman on his back.
The airman carried Bannister most of the way down, but he also enlisted the help of his friend Layton Allen in carrying her some of the way.
“She was definitely in a lot of pain. I told her just a few more steps, and we’d get her there,” May said.
At the foot of the mountain, they put the elderly woman into her car before elevating her foot and taking the wheel. Thirty minutes down the road, they met the search and rescue team who applied ice to Bannister’s foot. They then continued to a nearby hospital where she waited for her family to join her.

Bannister broke her leg in three places on that fateful trek and has “more than 10 screws and a plate in her leg,” according to NBC. She told the news outlet that her rescue shows “how good at heart the American people are.”
Just days later, May and Allen received a call from Bannister expressing her thanks for what they had done. She told them both how much she appreciated them and shared that she was recovering after surgery.
“I truly felt that these two guys were meant to be there to save me, and that sort of swam in my subconscious at the time,” Bannister further said, “I considered them my angels.”
“An angel,” and indeed, a hero … Troy May.

The Joe Rogan Experience

Last night I started to listen to the interview of Donald Trump on the “Joe Rogan Experience.” Prior to just recently I did not know who Joe Rogan was.
FYI:
“The Joe Rogan Experience” is the number one podcast on Spotify and currently boasts 14.5 million followers on the app and 17.5 subscribers on YouTube. The podcast is known to be especially popular among young American men.
By this morning this podcast had already been viewed over ten million viewers on You Tube.
Apparently the entire interview lasted close to three hours, but because I am old after close to one and one half hours of listening it was way past my bedtime.
The interview covered a wide range of topics and from what I heard, no topic was verboten. Trump’s assassination attempt, his feelings on first entering the White House, the Lincoln Bedroom, John Bolton. I must spam it that I was impressed with Trump’s knowledge on the history of tariffs, the income tax, and President McKinley’s influence.
In general were the questions easy? To be honest I would have to say that they were non-challenging, but Donald Trump came off as a likable regular guy, just like he did a few weeks back on the Gutfeld show on Fox. No word salad!
Honestly, Kamala Harris probably made a wise choice by refusing to appear on Rogan’s podcast as there a no way that she could have pulled it off! Let me rephrase that … there is no way she could have done more than twenty minutes! … Trump did close to three hours!

Turning On Their Own ?

On 10/23/24 CNN had a Townhall with Kamala Harris. After it finished one wonders if CNN is turning on its own.
From Townhall:
The left is losing its patience with Vice President Kamala Harris as she continues to embarrass the Democratic Party with her constant word salads, inability to string two sentences together, and struggle to explain her policies. A CNN political commentator, David Axelrod accused Harris of running around like a chicken with its head cut off when hit with questions she didn’t want to answer, which resulted in missed opportunities to address her positions on several vital topics.
“The thing that would concern me is when she doesn’t want to answer a question,” Axelrod said. “Her habit is to kind of go to word salad city, and she did that on a couple of answers. One was on Israel. Anderson asked a direct question, ‘Would you be stronger on Israel than Trump?’ And there was a seven-minute answer, but none of it related to the question he was asking.”

CNN’s political commentator and former Obama Adviser Van Jones criticized Harris for being “evasive” and dodging critical questions voters need to hear her point of view on.

In addition, the network’s Dana Bash suggested that Harris did not “seal the deal.”
Bash pointed to several times the vice president refused to answer questions, especially regarding her legislative priorities, weaknesses, and mistakes.

I wonder whether if these CNN commentators seemingly turning on their own candidate is indicative of a sense of their incipient panic. Neither David Axelrod, Van Jones, nor Dana Bash made any argument that convinced me the Kamala is going to win.

Is One Girl Too Many ?

A 10/23/24 headline from the New York Post:
UN reveals how many female athletes have
lost medals to trans opponents in explosive report

“The report was “compiled by Reem Alsalem, the UN special rapporteur on violence against women and girls,” and “was presented to the UN General Assembly earlier this month.”

From CV NEWS FEED:
A recently released report from the United Nations (UN) found that female athletes lost at least 890 medals to male opponents who claim to be women across two dozen sports.
As of late March 2024, “over 600 female athletes in more than 400 competitions have lost more than 890 medals in 29 different sports,” the report, titled “Violence against women and girls in sports,”

During a morning FOX News appearance on 10/24/24, women’s sports advocate Riley Gaines said she thinks the revelation is “huge … especially coming from the UN.”
Gaines, a retired collegiate swimmer, told Shimkus that the “alarming, shockingly high number” of lost awards “doesn’t really mean much to me in terms of how inclined I feel to fight this fight and to push back.”
“One girl losing out on opportunities, one girl being exploited in locker rooms, one girl being injured in their sport, is one girl too many,” Gaines argued.

Earlier this week, retired trailblazing racecar driver Danica Patrick came out against the notion of men who claim to be women competing in women’s sports.
“It’s completely wrong,” said Patrick, who has set numerous firsts for women in racing. “And this is coming from someone who was a woman who was basically in a man’s sport. A man is just different, their hormones are different, their body is different.”

Popular X account Libs of TikTok related the news to the presidential election in less than two weeks.
“Kamala supports this. Trump vowed to ban it,” the account wrote, referring to comments the former president has made. “Vote wisely!”
For those women who are planning on voting for Harris, just one question: “Is one girl too many?”

Nothing Good !

One of the questions that we should all be asking as we get within two weeks of the election is:
“What will happen to the economy and the stock market if Kamala Harris gets elected?
Who shall we ask?
How about Jim Rickards? He is a lawyer and investment banker with over 30 years experience working in capital markets. Rickards advises the Department of Defense and the U.S. Intelligence community on global finance, and served as the facilitator of the first ever financial war games conducted by the Pentagon. He is a frequent guest on CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV, NPR, and lectures at Northwestern University and at the School of Advanced International Studies.

According to Jim Rickards:
“Kamala Harris’s policies will be extremely negative for the stock market. She wants to raise corporate taxes, which will reduce corporate profits. She wants to drastically increase capital gains taxes, which will induce some forced selling ahead of the tax law change and reduce total returns to investors. She wants to penalize the oil and natural gas industry, which will hurt valuations on major stocks like ExxonMobil, Chevron and Marathon while increasing gas prices at the pump for consumers. Increases in fuel costs raise the cost of transportation, which raises the cost of almost every tangible good. She supports Green New Scam initiatives in solar and windmills including subsidies, which will result in more debt and wasted investment. She favors greater regulation of wetlands, waterways and use of federal lands, which will raise costs to developers and natural resource exploration companies. Her open borders policy causes lower wages for U.S. works, which reduces consumption and slows the U.S. economy. There’s more to say but that’s a good overview. Harris will be a disaster for the economy and for stocks.”

So the basic simple answer to the question of “what will happen to the economy and the stock market if Kamala gets elected?”
According to someone who knows … NOTHING GOOD !

Another Poor Decision ?

On 10/21/24 Kamala Harris, the vice president, appeared at a “town hall” on Monday with Liz Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.
From the start it was a bizarre “town hall,” in that the attendees were not allowed to ask any questions. And why Liz Cheney? … Could it be because Liz Cheney is affected with a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome? Or could it be that Cheney was there to give Christian anti-abortion voters “permission” to vote for Kamala?
From X:
“Liz Cheney on Monday sought to give anti-abortion voters explicit permission to support Kamala Harris, suggesting during a town-hall-style event with Harris that Republican restrictions on abortion rights had gone too far.”

From Red State’s Bonchie:
“I know The New York Times is having a bit of a banner day, but let me assure the journalists there that Liz Cheney does not have the influence to give anyone permission to do anything. She is despised by Republicans and Democrats alike, which is why it is so moronic for Harris to try to use the disgraced former congresswoman as a campaign asset.
It’s not just that Cheney doesn’t provide any juice for Harris. It’s that she actively angers a core demographic that Harris is counting on to win the battleground states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.”
This core demographic is Arab-Americans. No one despises the Cheney family more than Arab-Americans, many of whom see them as the cause of so much death and suffering in the Middle East. And almost predictably during the town hall, a protester stood up and asked about the war in Gaza. He was shouted down and escorted out by security.”
Still from Red State:
“Whatever overtures Harris has made to Arab-Americans were just destroyed by cozying up to Cheney and tossing out a “pro-Palestinian” protester.”

Could this Harris-Cheney association be another poor decision made by that the Harris campaign? … Hopefully
