A Boy Named Sue; A Real Man Named Ivan

Fiction Alert! This was a Johnny Cash hit song. Realistically, there is probably no actual real boy (XY) named Sue. Those of us who “follow the science” know that this is true, while some yum-yums, like Sandra Feist, have an alternate view of reality.

Sandra Feist is a Democratic state representative, who argued against an amendment to a bill that would provide funding for menstrual products in student restrooms. She told fellow legislators last week that “not all students who menstruate are female,” the National Desk reported.

Sandra Feist introduced the “Menstrual Equity Bill,” which is aimed at providing all students with access to menstrual products, the outlet said.

Amid a Jan. 11 education policy hearing, Feist fired off a list of reasons why she believes the amendment making the products available in female restrooms only as opposed to restrooms for both genders shouldn’t be supported.

Before laughing too hard, realize that Sandra Feist is an elected state representative … OMG! However, to put things in perspective she was elected in the state of Minnesota. A real “yum-yum” for the “dum-dum,” “woke” voters in Minnesota!

Elsewhere in the country, many are getting tired of all of this “wokeness.” For instance in Pennsylvania, from the Daily Wire:

On Tuesday, 1/17/23, the Philadelphia Flyers were set to warm up in jerseys that reflected the organization’s Pride Night event. Ivan Provorov received criticism when he did not join for warmups, later pointing to his religious faith, which is Russian Orthodox. “I respect everybody and I respect everybody’s choices,” Provorov said following the game. “My choice is to stay true to myself and my religion. That’s all I’m going to say. … That’s all I’m going to comment on that. If you have any hockey questions, I’ll answer those.”

So what happened next?

Here we have an example of a real man, Ivan Provorov, who took a stand against wokeness.

National Hockey League player Ivan Provorov’s jersey was sold out on several websites in men’s sizes on Thursday after the player did not take part in an LGBTQ event due to his religion earlier in the week.

From the Washington Examiner’s Colin Rugg: 

“NHL player who refused to wear the pride rainbow Ivan Provorov had his jerseys completely sell out on NHL Shop and Fanatic. America hates wokeness.”
